The Dimondale Farmers' Market operates on Thursdays, June through September from 3-7 p.m. and during October from 3-6 p.m.  It's located at 136 N. Bridge Street, Dimondale, in the Village Square.  2021 is the 14th season of this healthy endeavor.  We'll host our usual, extraordinary vendors and a newbie or two to keep your interest peaked - over 15 quality sources of locally produced and grown food!  We now accept Project Fresh, Market Fresh, Bridge Cards and Double Up.

Our Mission is to make the Dimondale Farmers' Market a destination, with a focus on providing our community with healthy, regionally-produced food and food products.  The Market is designed to bring families, neighbors, visitors and local producers together to create a spirit of community, enhance the quality of life and strengthen the local economy.

2021 Season Looks to be One of the Best

The 2021 Season, according to all available metrics, is on its way to being our best yet! We can tout - more product variety among our vendors (with the addition of coffee, beeswax candles, keto baked goods, ethnic prepared foods, specialty baked goods and more), higher customer counts (averaging 500 per week), and increased participation in the supplemental food programs (three times above last year's level) - and we couldn't be happier. Our weekly electronic newsletter is the best way to find out what to expect each Thursday (see below).

We are a Michigan-only market and proud of it. Our vendors must grow or make their product line and signs at each booth identify the distance the food has traveled to get to Dimondale. In order to offer our customers the widest variety possible, vendors may be approved to sell products from other farms/companies and on very rare occasions a non-Michigan item may be allowed - such as lobster tails. (Yes we sell frozen lobster tails!) Buying locally keeps your food dollars circulating in our communities and assures the highest quality products for your consumption. It's just good practice to support local when you get the chance and we can help you with that at the Dimondale Farmers' Market - here for you all summer long!

Why Shop Locally?

The best tasting foods ripen close to home.  Food travels an average of 1,500 miles from farm to table and accounts for fifty percent of the trucks on our interstate system.  Buying Michigan locally grown food is a fresher choice. (Select Michigan)
