FAQs
I would like to start a business in Dimondale...Whats the first step?
How do I pay my sewer bill?
Payments can be paid by cash or check only, no cards.
Your sewer payment can be mailed to:
Village of Dimondale
PO Box 26
Dimondale, MI 48821
You can also make a payment at Union Bank, 140 East Rd, or drop your payment off at the Village Office located at 136 N. Bridge Street in Dimondale. A drop box next to the front door is available for after hours. Payments received after 5 p.m. will be posted the following day.
How do I get a building permit?
Anyone seeking a building permit must start in the Village Office by obtaining a Zoning Transmittal. There is no cost for this service, but you will need to provide the Zoning Administrator with a site plan, drawn to scale, showing the new construction and any existing structures with all setbacks and dimensions accurately identified. You must have a transmittal in order to obtain a building permit at the County. Eaton County provides all inspections and enforces the building code within the Village. A Stormwater Calculation Worksheet also needs to be filled out for new construction.
Can I burn brush inside the Village?
